Hi! I am Piama.
I’m a creative director and designer with nearly 20 years of experience across arts, culture and social impact. I’ve built brands and visual identities, launched bold campaigns, led multidisciplinary teams and produced live experiences and participatory platforms. I always aim to integrate diverse voices and absorb a wide range of conceptual and technical languages. Name the medium—I’ve had my hands in it.
But I’ve also been through it. The fog of burnout, the ache of stagnancy, the freefall of what now. I’ve taken big leaps alone, moved cities trusting a pull and chosen change even when it was uphill. And I hear the same calling, confusion and longing in the talented people around me. It’s a natural response to unnatural times. My belief only deepens: caring for yourself, connecting with generous humans and choosing intentional, generative transformation is worth efforts big and small in this one wild and precious life (ty Mary Oliver).
I get the inner world of creatives because I live it daily. Creative Calling draws from the design process (empathize, iterate, prototype, test, refine, launch, observe) and applies it to your own becoming. Blended with somatic, gestalt and imaginative visualization and narrative tools, I guide you to listen inward, release old stories, find glimmers and move toward what’s ready to be expressed. Hi! I am Aziz.
I am a creative executive, a designer and an illustrator among many other things that bring me joy, curiosity and wonder. I’ve built creative teams, led organizations and unleashed creativity in a variety of businesses and teams.
I am currently building an independent fashion brand, theother.style, which I co-founded in 2021. But most notably, I am the former CEO of Kickstarter, and prior to that, I was a Creative Director and Vice President of Product Experience at Refinery29.
My personal mission is the unlock the potential of creatives around me and across the world - unlocking who they are, driving conviction in their point of view and getting my hands dirty with them in the opportunities, challenges and obstacles that they experience. I believe the world need more creative leaders so Piama and I are here to help unlock them one creative at at a time.

There may be reflective practices or generative exercises, or we’ll see where the vibe and convo takes us. Each sesh is a little different, shaped by the puzzle pieces you bring, whether that’s energy, particular needs or simply your presence. No pressure, no prep, no politics.
