The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center is building the future of the arts by educating, training and presenting the next generation of artists and creative innovators. Unique among performing arts centers, The Clarice breaks through traditional boundaries in art-making and audience development via partnerships with MilkBoy ArtHouse, the Artist Partner Program, the School of Music, School of Theatre, Dance and Performance Studies, Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library, and Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.
As Creative Director, I have the privilege of establishing and leading our in-house design team consisting of graphic designers, project manager, graduate assistants and design interns. We co-create a myriad of print, digital and experiential projects ranging from conceptual development and strategy to marketing collateral to branding to swag to audience analysis to UX research to signage to photography, video and projection design and much more. Each partner, festival, and campaign has its own look and feel, which makes for challenging, exciting, and meaningful work.
