Working closely with the artistic team at Battery Dance, I created a new brand to commemorate their 40th anniversary and 34th year hosting the annual downtown dance festival. After exploring a myriad of ways in which to present their “socially relevant, artistically excellent” impact on the global dance stage, I custom created typography for a logo harkening back to their roots in the late 70s. The new logos and print and digital collateral represent their bold, beautiful, critical, and noble vision.
